At least this election cycle has had positive effect. The main stream media's Democratic partisans has been so over the top is is undeniable to all but the most stubborn liberal. This week the New Times "breaks" a story which is 18 months old. The cycle goes on:
- NYT breaks the story critical of the Bush administration. Any mitigating or exculpatory information is omitted.
- Its picked up throughout the main stream media.
- The same day the story becomes a staple of Kerry's stump speech.
- NYT prints a follow piece on how the "new" story is effecting the campaign.
- Rinse and repeat until November 2nd.
Its about time to recycle an Abu Ghraib prison story.
